Huacaya Herdsire (Male) True Black

AOA# 31620901 DOB: 8/10/200915 yrs
At Autumn Sun Alpacas, we know that is no secret that this true black herdsire is an all-around package that you will want to cover any dam, light or dark colored! Secret is a black that had no fading at his tips or interspersed white fibers when he was showing (he's getting a few 'old man' white hairs now). This isn't surprising with a lineage that includes notable black sires like Othello, recently deceased, and Snowmass Nova's Dark Quest. With his distinctive head and leg coverage, along ...

Details
Renee has a great lineage with her sire being the 15x black champion Irish Meadows Peruvian Knight Ryder (now deceased), himself sired by Black Icecapade. On her dam's side, her maternal grandsire is the CPeruvian Accoyo Express -- giving her a solid peruvian pedigree.

She is a nicely conformed and free moving dam with a square frame, strong bones, and typey looks. Her fiber has nice regrowth as she matures, with good crimpy, density and handle.

Renee has a fawn male sired by Shades of Silver with the most beautiful fleece; Axios has gone on to produce excellent offspring at our farm. Then she had a medium brown /rose grey male from our Dauntless that she lost at birth. Bred to Matrix she produced a spectacular black girl that we lost the winter of the 2018 'bomb cyclone' -- why is it that the best fiber are always the ones you lose??

Her latest cria was nice DB boy by our black champion Secret. Tragically, a few days ago, when startled by our wayward sheep running their zoomies out in their area, Renee inadvertently stepped on her newborn cria. Being a good mom, she is still in mourning, looking for him among the other alpacas.

Though we were never able to take advantage of her bloodlines and mothering to add to our foundation we are reducing numbers and presenting her at a desirable and affordable price.

She is proven. Certificate transfer, exam, and transportation are buyer costs with a month free agisting to arrange transportation.

SOLD! Congratulations to Kim and Robert Brandsma of Sugar Pike Alpacas!
